DRY
A major concern in the carpet cleaning industry is drying time. Most carpet cleaning systems use water in some form to dissolve and wash away soils. But too much water remaining is a problem. Not only can it encourage wicking (the cause of reappearance of old spots to surface), but the drying time can also be a tremendous inconvenience to both client staff and visitors alike. Depending on the type of facility, the "downtime" associated with carpet cleaning can cost the organization more than the cost of the service! CRYSTAL DRY
 If we have recommended "Crystal Dry", let me explain why. For ongoing maintenance, it is hard to beat the advantages of using Whittaker's GLS System with this patented liquid. The chemical is sprayed in mist form onto carpet or upholstery first, and then scrubbed with a machine that brushes the solution into the fiber. The chemical "encapsulates" soils, which then dry to a crystalline form that can be vacuumed up. It is normally used for larger commercial work, so we are "early adopters".
